A Little Perspective

As it's raining today and, as I don't like to stay away from logging in any more than I have to, I delved into my Desert Scenics file to see what I could come up with. (Actually, this particular image should probably be in a Plains Scenics file -- or maybe my Hwy 385 file -- as we're not quite in the desert yet.) I keep coming back to this image, as drawn to it now as I was when I first saw it in a moment of deep appreciation for the lighting in this area. The setting sun was casting a golden hue on everything it touched, and the shadows across the stones in the macadam gave texture and depth to an otherwise ho-hum something we all use every day but take for granted. I'm also in love with perspective shots, and this one certainly falls into that category, don't you think?

Awesome! I think in your title of this picture you may have hit upon a possiblity for your book: A Little Perspective.

Each chapter could have titles like "Bridges," "Old Movie Theaters," "Plane Legos," etc.
